MedTel International operate ten scanning and day surgery centres across England and Wales, including open MRI.  Open MRI avoids the claustrophobia of convential MRI scanners and allows larger patients to be scanned.  It also enables a wider range of positions for the patient which can save the need for exploratory surgery.
